January 5th - January 11th

Rachel is now 20 months old, it is amazing to me how fast the time flew.  Her new word is Jesus which is really cool.  She is starting to copy words that we say. When we go to stores, she likes to say "Hello" and "Bye" to the cashiers and other random people in the store.

Monday 5th - John went running in the morning before work. He did 6 miles.  Rachel and I just spent the day at home.  John tutored after work and when he got home he played an online computer game with his brothers.

Tuesday 6th - I ran a couple errands with Rachel in the morning.  That evening Jeremy, Heather, and their cute boys came over for dinner.  It was a lot of fun to spend time with them just visiting.  After dinner we played a game of 7 Wonders before they had to leave. John then went to Presidency meeting.

Wednesday 7th - In the morning Rachel and I went to play group which is always fun.  After John got home from work we pretty much just vegged until bed time.

Thursday 8th - Thursday morning John ran 6 miles. The rest of the day was pretty uneventful with John at work and Rachel and I hanging out at the house. That evening we got a pizza and Kevin and Kindra came over for dinner and games.  It is always fun to hang out with them.

Friday 9th - John went to work and after work he tutored his high school student.  After we got home we hung out for the rest of the evening.

Saturday 10th - John went running in the morning, he did 11 miles with Chelsi, Tiffani, Stacie, and Trevor.  After John got home we ran some errands.  Our first stop was Kid-to-Kid where I picked up a couple little boy things.  We made a quick stop at Walmart and then ate lunch at Costco.  After we got home we put Rachel down for her nap and John worked on backing up our phones.  Terry and Gloria came over so we could all go to Verizon so John and I could get our new phones.  They brought Brigitta with them so that she could sit in the living room incase Rachel woke up. We didn't end up getting our phones because they did not have them in stock so they had to order them.  We went to Menchies after the Verizon store for some frozen yogurt.  After we got home we finished cooking dinner and had our friends Joe and Becca over to eat and play games.  It was fun we played some UNO, Nerts, Trash, and 7 Wonders.

Sunday 11th - We all spent a great morning relaxing, reading, and playing (mostly Rachel for the last one).  We put Rachel down for a nap around 10 and she slept for about an hour before she woke up.  We headed to church and even though we ended up sitting in the back on the folding chairs Rachel did really well.  John took her to nursery after Sacrament meeting and she would not even tell him good-by she just wanted to play. The nursery leaders had to bring her to me during primary to change her diaper and after I finished she ran back to nursery.  After church we all came home and then the Elder's Quorum President came to pick John up to go do some visits.  While he was gone Rachel and I got to FaceTime with my family which was a lot of fun. We had a fun evening and a delicious dinner.
