Monday 8th - Rachel and I spent the morning lounging around and getting ready for the day. We headed to Walmart for some much needed shopping. Rachel was so good and kept waving at everyone. After we got home Rachel had some lunch and then it was nap time for her. I hung out waiting for our photographer to stop by with our photos from the day before. After she dropped them off, I got to talk to my grandma on FaceTime, which was a lot of fun. That evening after John got home we made and ordered our Christmas cards.
Tuesday 9th - In the morning Rachel and I went to our first playgroup. I had fun talking to adults and I think Rachel will get better the more we go. She was not very good at sharing and just wanted what everybody else had. After play group we hurried home for some lunch and then headed to the dentists office. I like her dentist and she did about as well as I thought she would. She screamed bloody murder while they cleaned her teeth but after they stopped she got happy again. They had a bunny in a cage in the exam room and Rachel loved it. The first time she petted the bunny the dental assistant was petting it with her so every time she went to pet the bunny she grabbed the dental assistants hand and made her go to the cage with her. It was really funny and the assistant liked that Rachel liked her. Before we left she even gave the dentist and the assistant high-five's and knuckles so I have hope that she will not hate the dentist. John tutored after work so he didn't make it home until right before Rachel's bath time. After she was in bed and he had some dinner he tutored again this time over Skype. Before we went to bed John took my 14 week pregnancy pictures.
Wednesday 10th - Most of the day was spent with Rachel relaxing at home. In the evening after John got home we ate some dinner and then headed to the church for tithing settlement. After we got home we enjoyed watching Survivor.
Thursday 11th - Rachel and I spent the day chilling at home. After John got home he took Rachel to the store with him to get me a couple things that sounded good while I got a little alone time and cooked dinner. We ate dinner while we watched Biggest Loser. There is a good way to make you not eat too much.
Friday 12th - In the morning after Rachel and I were ready for the day we headed out to do some Christmas shopping. It sure is nice this year that I can take Rachel with me to buy her presents. We were gone for a few hours so when we came home it was time to eat lunch and take naps. After John got home we decided to go out to dinner. We ended up going to IHOP because crepes sounded good to me. Rachel got a bowl of Mac & Cheese for dinner with a side of fruit. She finished all of it. We are still not sure where it all went. After we got home Rachel had a blast playing and John and I watched Amazing Race.
Saturday 13th - Happy Birthday mom! In the morning as we were getting ready we took a break to call my mom and sing her happy birthday. Rachel loves the happy birthday song and was dancing around and clapping. Once we were ready for the day we headed over to Tyler and Katie's to play games. John played Starfarer's of Catan, which he won. I played Ticket to Ride Europe and got second. Rachel had fun running around between the two of us and getting into things. On the way home we stopped at Costco to get Rachel some more diapers. Stopping there on a Saturday was a bad idea as it was so busy. After we got home we put Rachel down for her nap. While she was sleeping I worked on my lesson and John got out the Christmas decorations for me so that I could decorate. We spent the evening just relaxing together. After Rachel went to bed I went over to my team teacher's apartment so we could go over how we wanted to teach.
Sunday 14th - We spent a mostly relaxed morning getting ready for church. We headed over a little earlier than normal so that I could get stuff out of the library. Sacrament meeting started a little crazy because Rachel was in a mood but she got better. We had a young woman from the ward take Rachel to nursery hoping that she would be better. John ended up still needing to go in at the beginning but he did get to leave and it was her best day in nursery by far. My class was very hyper. I had one girl who raised her hand as I started asking questions whether or not she knew the answer, another little boy could not sit still and we had a new little girl who has Aspergers syndrome and she attached herself to by hip and wanted me to hold her the whole time. The rest of the class was a normal bunch of 4/5 year olds. After we got home Rachel and I took naps and John went home teaching. That evening we had a lot of fun relaxing and watching Frozen.
