December 22nd - December 28th

Rachel is growing so much.  She is trying to say so many words and when she wants something and we don't understand she just drags us around.  She is learning to play with toys the way they are designed (except remotes those are still phones).  She is going to be such a good big sister because she has a baby and she loves taking it everywhere and giving it a bottle.

Monday 22nd - Monday morning we finished packing up our suitcases and getting ready for our trip.  We left for my doctors appointment but when we got there found out we were there an hour early.  We let Rachel play in the children's play area and she was perfectly happy. During my appointment the doctor found out the gender of our baby.  He wrote it down and put it in an envelope along with the ultrasound pictures.  After my appointment was over we headed back to our apartment and John packed up the car. It was a pretty uneventful drive and we managed to make it the whole way without stopping.  After we got to St. George we enjoyed some dinner and Rachel enjoyed playing with everyone.

Tuesday 23rd - In the morning John went running.  My mom and I spent most the of the day running last minutes errands.  We picked out the boy outfit and the girl outfit and had customer service open the envelope and put the outfit in the box while my mom and I looked around the store. It was so hard knowing that other people knew and I didn't.

Wednesday 24th - We had a fun day getting ready for Christmas. Everyone ran their last minute errands. In the evening we went to the temple to see the lights and the Nativity. After we got back we read the Nativity Story in the scriptures.  We opened our pajamas and headed to bed.

Thursday 25th - Merry Christmas! The morning started nice and early with everyone opening their gifts from Santa. We took a break from gifts and made a delicious brunch.  After we had all gotten our fill of the food we opened all our presents from each other. It was a lot of fun to see everyone's excitement.  Rachel had a hard time opening all her presents because she just wanted us to open each one as she unwrapped it and set it up for her.  John and my dad spent a little bit setting up her new trampoline.  One of her favorite presents was a new baby doll. John got a pair of bluetooth headphones.  I got a fantastic pregnancy pillow that I wanted with my first pregnancy. In the afternoon we got a Skype call from Quinn.  Once he called we called my grandma and Terry & Gloria via FaceTime so that everyone could see John and I open the box with the baby's gender.  We found out that we are going to have a cute little BOY!  That evening we watched Monument Men.

Friday 26th - In the morning my mom and I went to the store and I got a Christmas tree while John and Gibson went to cardio tennis.  In the afternoon my mom and John went to help my dad set up his office and I worked on sewing. Friday night we went out to Hurricane to see the Christmas Village that one of John's friends has collected over the years, and then we watched Guardians of the Galaxy.

Saturday 27th - John and my mom went running in the morning and then John and I went to tennis.  After we got back I spent most of the day sewing a carseat cover.  I took a fun break and went to Kid-to-Kid with my mom and Rachel.  I picked up a couple of little boy things. For dinner we went to Brick Oven and met my mom's aunt and uncle and all of their kids and grandkids for dinner.

Sunday 28th - Rachel was not feeling very well so after Sacrament meeting so I brought her home.  I tried to put her down for a nap but she just played in the room for an hour until I got her up.  After we had dinner John put Rachel down for a nap.  My mom, Sierra, and I took naps at the same time, it was so nice.  That night we watched The MazeRunner.

December 15th - December 21st

Rachel continues to grow and learn. She drives us nuts and at the same time is so incredibly cute that we can't be mad at her. We are pretty sure that she knows words as we will occasionally catch her saying full phrases, but she won't say anything when we ask her to. She loves to riverdance on the floor (we feel sorry for our neighbors below us) as well as dance while music plays on the TV.

Monday 15th - Monday morning Rachel and I went to do some grocery shopping. In the evening our friends Kevin and Kendra came over for dinner.  After dinner we drove over to Draper and saw their "Tree of Life," which is a Christmas tree in a park that they put a ton of lights on. It was so pretty.  After we finished seeing the tree Kevin and Kindra treated us to the new Draper Leatherby's where we got fries and ice cream.

Tuesday 16th - Tuesday morning Rachel and I went to play group.  The house we went to was so much fun. They had a slide in the basement.  We were there for almost 3 hours. They gave the kids cookies at the end which Rachel loved. After we got home Rachel and I took our naps.

Wednesday 17th - In the morning Rachel and I made a trip to Jiffy Lube to get the front tire pumped up.  The rest of the day was spent relaxing with Rachel at home.  That night John and I watched the finale of Survivor. We went to bed early since John was feeing sick.

Thursday 18th - Thursday was a very relaxed day.  John and I watched Biggest Loser after Rachel went to bed.

Friday 19th - Rachel and I went and did the very last of our Christmas shopping.  For dinner we had my friend from middle school over and her husband.  They were here for almost 4 hours and it was so fun to catch up with her. John and her husband had fun swapping mission stories.

Saturday 20th - We all got up early and headed to our ward Christmas party.  The food was not bad. They had a ton of Costco muffins and breakfast casseroles. A high school elite choir came and sang some Christmas music.  After the breakfast we headed over to Tyler and Katie's for all the grandkids to make sugar cookies.  Rachel was kind of cranky but she enjoyed eating the candy. After we got home Rachel hung out in her room playing for an hour instead of taking a nap.  John watched the Aggie Bowl game and I took a short nap on the couch. After Rachel got up we watched the finale of Amazing Race. We were pretty happy with the outcome. After that, our friends Becca and Joe came over for games.  I lost 3 games of 7 Wonders really badly and John won 1 of them.

Sunday 21st - In the morning we got up and got ready for church.  John was a huge help getting Rachel ready and making the soup for me.  We headed to Lehi for the blessing of Jeremy and Heather's cute new baby. After Sacrament meeting we headed over to Heather's brother's house for a lunch of soup and cornbread.  After we got home we put Rachel down for a nap and worked on packing and cleaning up the house. That night Jeremy came by and John went with him to play games with their family.

December 8th - December 14th

Rachel is getting so much better at playing in her room by herself.  Her "hi" is sounding more like hi as she is getting better at the 'h' sound. She must be going through a growth spurt because she has been eating so much more than normal.

Monday 8th - Rachel and I spent the morning lounging around and getting ready for the day.  We headed to Walmart for some much needed shopping. Rachel was so good and kept waving at everyone.  After we got home Rachel had some lunch and then it was nap time for her.  I hung out waiting for our photographer to stop by with our photos from the day before.  After she dropped them off, I got to talk to my grandma on FaceTime, which was a lot of fun.  That evening after John got home we made and ordered our Christmas cards.

Tuesday 9th - In the morning Rachel and I went to our first playgroup.  I had fun talking to adults and I think Rachel will get better the more we go.  She was not very good at sharing and just wanted what everybody else had.  After play group we hurried home for some lunch and then headed to the dentists office.  I like her dentist and she did about as well as I thought she would. She screamed bloody murder while they cleaned her teeth but after they stopped she got happy again.  They had a bunny in a cage in the exam room and Rachel loved it.  The first time she petted the bunny the dental assistant was petting it with her so every time she went to pet the bunny she grabbed the dental assistants hand and made her go to the cage with her.  It was really funny and the assistant liked that Rachel liked her.  Before we left she even gave the dentist and the assistant high-five's and knuckles so I have hope that she will not hate the dentist.  John tutored after work so he didn't make it home until right before Rachel's bath time.  After she was in bed and he had some dinner he tutored again this time over Skype.  Before we went to bed John took my 14 week pregnancy pictures.

Wednesday 10th - Most of the day was spent with Rachel relaxing at home.  In the evening after John got home we ate some dinner and then headed to the church for tithing settlement.  After we got home we enjoyed watching Survivor.

Thursday 11th - Rachel and I spent the day chilling at home. After John got home he took Rachel to the store with him to get me a couple things that sounded good while I got a little alone time and cooked dinner. We ate dinner while we watched Biggest Loser. There is a good way to make you not eat too much.

Friday 12th - In the morning after Rachel and I were ready for the day we headed out to do some Christmas shopping.  It sure is nice this year that I can take Rachel with me to buy her presents.  We were gone for a few hours so when we came home it was time to eat lunch and take naps. After John got home we decided to go out to dinner.  We ended up going to IHOP because crepes sounded good to me.  Rachel got a bowl of Mac & Cheese for dinner with a side of fruit.  She finished all of it. We are still not sure where it all went.  After we got home Rachel had a blast playing and John and I watched Amazing Race.

Saturday 13th - Happy Birthday mom! In the morning as we were getting ready we took a break to call my mom and sing her happy birthday.  Rachel loves the happy birthday song and was dancing around and clapping.  Once we were ready for the day we headed over to Tyler and Katie's to play games.  John played Starfarer's of Catan, which he won.  I played Ticket to Ride Europe and got second.  Rachel had fun running around between the two of us and getting into things.  On the way home we stopped at Costco to get Rachel some more diapers.  Stopping there on a Saturday was a bad idea as it was so busy. After we got home we put Rachel down for her nap.  While she was sleeping I worked on my lesson and John got out the Christmas decorations for me so that I could decorate.  We spent the evening just relaxing together.  After Rachel went to bed I went over to my team teacher's apartment so we could go over how we wanted to teach.

Sunday 14th - We spent a mostly relaxed morning getting ready for church.  We headed over a little earlier than normal so that I could get stuff out of the library.  Sacrament meeting started a little crazy because Rachel was in a mood but she got better.  We had a young woman from the ward take Rachel to nursery hoping that she would be better.  John ended up still needing to go in at the beginning but he did get to leave and it was her best day in nursery by far.  My class was very hyper.  I had one girl who raised her hand as I started asking questions whether or not she knew the answer, another little boy could not sit still and we had a new little girl who has Aspergers syndrome and she attached herself to by hip and wanted me to hold her the whole time. The rest of the class was a normal bunch of 4/5 year olds.  After we got home Rachel and I took naps and John went home teaching.  That evening we had a lot of fun relaxing and watching Frozen.

December 1st - December 7th

Rachel now tries to say bath but she can only get the b sound out.  She loves John and is always so excited when he comes home from work.  It is her favorite time of the day.  She now is very into dragging us places (mostly her room) to show us what she wants or to get us to play with her.

Monday 1st - Rachel and I spent a relaxing morning lounging in my bed and playing.  I got to talk to my grandma in Guatemala for a little bit in the morning and that was fun.  After we were both ready for the day we took the rent over to the main office.  That afternoon we had nap time, which was nice. After John got home he helped me make a turkey we had defrosting in the fridge. We spent the evening relaxing and catching up on Amazing Race.

Tuesday 2nd - After Rachel and I were ready for the day we headed out to do some clothes shopping.  I found the cutest pair of red skinny jeans for Rachel. When we got back it was nap time for both of us.  That night it was just fun to relax with John at home.

Wednesday 3rd - During the day Rachel and I just played and relaxed.  That night after John got home we headed over to the church to meet with the bishop were I was asked to serve as a primary teacher.  I will most likely be teaching the 4 year olds which could be interesting but fun.

Thursday 4th - Thursday was another day at home for Rachel and me.  John had a presidency meeting in the evening and Rachel was not happy when he left.  I tried to give her a bath so she would be ready for bed but she kept running away and knocking on the front door looking for John.  She ended up just getting a bath after he got home.

Friday 5th - When John was at work he got the wonderful surprise of a Christmas bonus.  That night we decided to celebrate and we went to dinner with our friends Kevin and Kindra.  We went to Applebee's where I discovered I still like onion rings and their mashed potatoes. After dinner we went back to our apartment and spent the next two hours having a good time visiting.

Saturday 6th - Saturday morning we went to Grace's baptism.  It was beautiful and I am glad we were able to go.  After the lunch-in I dropped John off at the trax station.  He went to the downtown library and tutored for almost two hours.  While he was tutoring I tried to give Rachel a nap but she decided her 15 minutes in the car was enough.  When John was done tutoring he rode the trax back to Herriman where Rachel and I picked him up.  That evening our friends Becca and Joe came over for dinner and games.  We played 4 games of 7 Wonders.  I won 2 of them and Joe won 2 of them.

Sunday 7th - In the morning Rachel woke up early so we tried to get her to sleep with us but she was having none of it.  After we were all ready for church we tried calling by grandma to wish her a happy birthday she didn't answer so we just left her a message.  During Sacrament meeting I was sustained for my new calling.  Rachel did pretty well but mostly just wanted to sit on John's lap or in the aisle so she could see.  I took her to nursery where I tried to leave her but they had to bring her to me in less than 5 minutes.  I spent the rest of my time at church with Rachel in the nursery. After we got home I put Rachel down for a nap.  John had to stay late at church for some Elder's Quorum stuff.  At 4:00 we went to Butterfield Canyon and got some family Christmas pictures taken.  Rachel was a little stinker but I think we got a few good pictures.  That night we put Rachel to bed early since she was so cranky.

November 24th - November 30th

Rachel is starting to say more words (or at least what we recognize as words). She has added "puppy" (puhpa) and can also say Sierra. When asked what a doggy says she pants, it is really cute. She gets excited and tries to jump off of the ground, but can now actually get a little air. She has a lot of energy, but we are able to get her down to bed fairly easily most nights. She will occasionally snuggle with us, but that is still rare, so we enjoy it all that we can.

Monday 24th - Monday morning I had my 12 week checkup.  Rachel went with me since it was supposed to be a fairly fast appointment with just a measurement of my belly and listening to the heartbeat. My doctor is training a new OBGYN and I was asked if he could do my appointment.  That was totally fine with me since it was a simple visit.  When he and the nurse tried to find the heart beat they couldn't so they called the doctor in to look, but he couldn't find it either.  At this point I was totally freaking out and about to burst into tears. They took me into the ultrasound room where they were able to find the baby very quickly.  The baby was sitting at the very back of my uterus just lounging which made it hard to hear the heartbeat.  They got the baby to move around and showed me the beating heart.  The only nice thing about it was that I got to see the baby and get a couple pictures that I wasn't planning on. The whole time this was going on Rachel was freaking out and crying because I was up on the table and she wanted me to hold her.  After my appointment Rachel and I headed to Walmart to have them look and the tires and get some groceries.  They were unwilling to fix the tires so I got my groceries and headed home with Rachel. The rest of the day was just spent at home.

Tuesday 25th - Tuesday morning Rachel had her 18 month check up. She weighed 24.12 pounds which is 74th percentile, 32.9 inched tall which is 78th percentile, and her head was 19 inches around which is 92nd percentile.  It took about an hour  at the doctors office and then we headed to Discount Tire to get the back tires on the Kia replaced.  It took almost 2 hours because they were so busy and Rachel was so tired and done by the time we got to leave.  We headed home for nap time for both of us.  That night John tutored via skype and I worked on my Jello salad for Thanksgiving.

Wednesday 26th - John went to work and tutored.  Rachel and I spent the day at home relaxing and waiting for my parents to get there.  John beat them to the house which worked because he was able to go get a pizza for dinner and arrived with it not too long after my parents got to the house. Rachel was so excited to see them and enjoyed playing with them until her mean parents made her go to bed. While we ate dinner we enjoyed watching Survivor together.

Thursday 27th - Happy Thanksgiving! My mom, dad, and John ran in the the thankful 13 so they headed to Lehi around 7 and I left about an hour later to see them come in.  There were no close parking spots so I missed my dad, brother, and cousins who ran the 5K, but I did get to see my mom and John cross the finish line (John got a new PR so he was excited). After we got back to the house everyone showered and we finished getting stuff ready for Thanksgiving dinners.  My parents headed over to Jodi's about 1:00 and we left a half hour later.  We started heading for Tiffani's house where we thought dinner was being held. Thank heavens we found out after only about 5 minutes so we didn't have to back track too far to Terry and Gloria's.  I was told that dinner was delicious and I really enjoyed the few things my stomach was able to handle.  We hung out at the house eating and chatting until about 6:45. After my parents got back we all went to bed since my mom and I were planing on getting up so early the next morning.

Friday 28th - Black Friday.  My mom and I got up at 4:00 a.m. to go shopping.  Even though all the stores we wanted to go to opened on Thursday with there door busters we refused to go out on a holiday and make people work.  We went at a great time because the crowd was gone and we were able to get all but 2 things on our list. We dropped stuff off at home and then my mom, Rachel, and I headed to Starbucks to meet all the Kidd (with a Kroff and Leavitt) women for hot chocolate.  Since I don't like chocolate when I'm pregnant I got Rachel and me apple juice boxes (I felt very grown-up). We stopped and got some Costa Vida for lunch on the way home.  At home we spent the afternoon relaxing and taking naps.  That evening we headed over to Brandon and Stacie's house for deep fried Friday.  The smell of the batter made me sick so I didn't eat anything just got to spent time with everyone. John stayed to play games so I took Rachel home and got her to bed. My parents were at a movie so I got ready for bed and laid on the couch watching tv until everyone got home.

Saturday 29th - Saturday morning John made delicious breakfast sandwiches for those that were there.  My mom and I started working on super Saturday stuff that I signed up over a month ago and couldn't go do.  We worked on painting in the morning. My mom had a much harder time then me since Rachel did not want my mom to set her down. After lunch we headed over to my aunt Jodi's house to pick up Sierra and drop off my dad so he could watch the BYU game.  My mom, Sierra, Rachel, and I went to F.Y.E on the way back to my house and stopped to get Rachel and Sierra lunch incase Rachel fell asleep on the way home.  After we got home John put Rachel down for her nap before heading out to play games with the men of his family.  Rachel spent an hour playing in her room and then cried.  She never did get a nap.  While she was in her room my mom and I kept working on the projects.  After if was decided that Rachel was not going to sleep and we let her out of her room my mom and I took a break from the projects to let things dry and laid down on the couches for some quick naps.  That night for dinner we met John, my dad, Gibson, Jodi, and Jordan at Leatherby's for dinner and ice cream.  It was a lot of fun to chat even if I didn't eat a lot.  Rachel absolutely loved the fries and wanted to dunk all of them in the fry sauce. On the way home John and I stopped at Walmart for some fruit for the family dinner.  Rachel fell asleep on the way home and we put her strait to bed.

Sunday 30th - That morning when we got up we made cinnamon rolls for my family as they packed up to leave.  They left to head back to St. George about 8 and John and I started getting ready for church.  Rachel did really well during Sacrament meeting. She stayed in our row and waved to people behind us.  After Sacrament meeting I took Rachel to nursery. I tried leaving her but didn't make it very far before I could hear her banging on the door and screaming/crying so I went back in to calm her down and try to get her interested in the toys.  After awhile she got busy with the toys and I snuck out.  I got to sit with John for about 20 minutes before they brought me a hysterical Rachel.  I went back with them and helped her sit through snack time and the lesson.  While they were all coloring I snuck out again.  This time I only got to join John in the 5th Sunday lesson for about 10 minutes before they brought me Rachel.  I took her back and then since church was over grabbed her picture and went to find John.  Since John is now the first counselor in the Elders Quorum presidency he needed to go with the President after church to visit a few families so I took Rachel home by myself and put her down for her nap.  It was really simple since she fell asleep on the way home and I was able to lay her down on her bed strip her dress off and change her diaper with her barley awake. While I was eating lunch John came home and then he played on him computer while I laid on the bed to rest for a little bit.  That evening we went to the Kidd monthly family dinner where John and I were in charge of the menu so we did crepes.  After dinner and presents we headed home since I was not feeling well and Rachel and I were both getting tired.

Baby Kidd 12 Weeks

John and I are so excited to welcome baby number 2 into our lives.  We are very interested to see how Rachel reacts to a baby in the house, but we still have awhile to wait. This pregnancy instead of doing a white board I decided to make a count-down shirt.  It was a lot of work but I think it turned out pretty well. Every week I will cross out another number until the baby comes!

November 17th - November 23rd

Rachel is so fun to watch.  She rarely walks anywhere she much prefers running.  When something loud happens in a different room than the one she is in she always has to hurry as fast as she can to see what is happening.  Her favorite word is Uh-Oh and she says it anytime she thinks something is wrong, out of place, or if she feels silly.  She will sign thank-you now but she does it from her ear instead of her chin which just cracks me up.  When we are saying prayers she will now fold her arms if we ask her to but if you don't finish praying in the allotted amount of time (like 20 seconds) then she is up and ready to play again.

Monday 17th - In the morning Rachel and I headed to Kid-to-Kid to return a couple things and get Rachel some pajamas. After we finished there we headed to Swig to get my mom a drink and take it to her. Rachel was so excited to see nonnie and ran around the room to get to her. We spent the afternoon relaxing. That night after dinner my mom, Rachel, and I went to Costco.

Tuesday 18th - Tuesday morning Rachel and I chilled at the house. Rachel was kind of cranky since she had been up since 6:00. For lunch we met my friend Brandy and her sweet new baby. We had a fun time visiting and catching up on each other's life.  I didn't enjoy eating very much but it was fun to see my friend. We hurried home after lunch so Rachel could get a short nap before we went to pick up Gibson at school.

Wednesday 19th - Wednesday was a day that I tried to not throw up. Rachel and I spent a lot of time at the house. In the evening, Sierra and Gib had different mutual activities, so my dad and I hung out in the evening. I watched survivor, and headed to bed.

Thursday 20th - I took my mom Swig in the morning. Rachel and I hung out some more at home. That evening, I went to Kid-to-Kid to try and find a pair of maternity pants. My mom and Gibson went to a school board meeting while Sierra went to Special Needs mutual, so I got to hang out with my dad again. Rachel was being a bit cranky, but we realized she was starting to get another tooth.

Friday 21st - Friday morning I went and got my hair done and then Rachel and I went back to the house where I promptly put her down for a nap because she was so cranky.  I picked up Gibson from school around 12:30 and then headed back to the house where Rachel played while I laid down. My mom got home early thanks to a short day at school. We went to Target where I found a good pair of maternity pants (so we could return the not-so-great pair) and a cute shirt. We then waited for John and Terry to arrive. That night after dinner, everyone watched Rachel so that John and I could go out on a date. We went bowling (John won, but I had my best game ever on our first game... we should have stopped then) and then went to Menchies for desert. When we got back, John put Rachel to bed, and after she fell asleep we all went to bed.

Saturday 22nd - John and my mom went running in the morning (7 miles). When they got back, John quickly showered and he and Terry went out to Hurricane to clean carpet. While they were gone, my mom and I got Super Saturday stuff out and organized so that we could work on it. In doing so, we found we didn't have most of the "household" items needed to complete the projects (is Modge Podge a household item?). We went get said items, and got back right after John and Terry had returned. While they began cleaning the carpet, we ate lunch and then left to get out (well, Rachel mostly) of the way. We went to Deseret Book. While we were headed there, Rachel fell asleep, so Sierra stayed in the car with her. Next we went to Carousel Kids were my mom found a cute little car for Rachel to ride around in. John hated this car by the end of the day because Rachel loved being pushed in it, but it is really low to the ground. We stopped at Walmart to get some items for dinner, and then we headed home to see the newly cleaned carpet. That night after dinner, John gave Rachel a bath while my mom, Gibson, and I went to Red-Box to get a movie and the movie theater for popcorn. We watched Maleficent, which we all enjoyed a lot.

Sunday 23rd - We woke up and got ready for church. Rachel had lots of fun during Sacrament meeting going between the two rows we were sitting on. John took her to Nursery, and ended up staying in with her the whole time. She started to relax and play after about 40 minutes, but would cry anytime that he left. As soon as we got home from church, John and I worked on packing all of our stuff up, and then Terry and John packed up the car. We ate some food and headed out. Rachel and I took a nap in the car on the way back. She slept longer than I did, and kept waking up and then falling back to sleep. After we got home, and the car was unloaded, John made dinner while we caught up on the Amazing Race. After dinner, John gave Rachel a bath and put her to bed.

November 10th - November 16th

Rachel is so active. She loves playing outside on nonnie and pop's trampoline and going down the slide. She loves playing with toy dishes and pretending to make things. At church when ever the piano or organ starts she likes to help lead the hymns. At bed time my family sits in a circle to do prayers and Rachel has started joining the circle and holding hands. A couple times she has even tried to pray. She has a long torso so all her shirts are 2T just for the length but her pants are still 18 months.

John spent the week working and tutoring. On Monday and Wednesday he ran 6 miles and on Saturday he ran 14 miles, he was super tired but managed to drag himself through the apartment.

Monday 10th - Monday morning I went off my anti-nausea medication. I still felt sick all day while taking it and it gave me horrible headaches. Rachel enjoyed spending the day playing with different toys then the ones she has at home.

Tuesday 11th - Tuesday morning I took my mom some swig and Rachel and I spent the rest of the day chilling at home.

Wednesday 12th - Rachel and I spent the morning relaxing and then at lunch time we went to Costa Vida and picked up food for my parents and one of my mom's coworkers. That evening I took Gibson to his tennis lesson.

Thursday 13th - Thursday was just spent relaxing at the house with Rachel playing and me feeling sick.

Friday 14th - Friday Gibson was in a tennis tournament so he didn't go to school. I dropped him off at Summit to warm up at 9 in the morning. Rachel and I went back home for the rest of the morning and nap time. My mom stopped  by to get us and change and we headed to Gibson's second match that afternoon. After he won his match we headed back to the house to pick up my dad and Sierra so we could head to dinner. We had a delicious dinner at Olive Garden where I enjoyed the soup and Rachel enjoyed running from person to person playing with everyone.

Saturday 15th - Saturday morning we headed out early for Gibson cold and windy first match. Rachel loved going by the fence to cheer him on. We returned to the house made a shopping list and headed to the store. Once the grocery shopping was finished we headed back to the house for nap time before Gibson's last match. We enjoyed a relaxing night at home after the match watching Mulan.

Sunday 16th - Sunday morning for Sacrament meeting we went to a different ward because the special needs mutual was singing and we all wanted to go support Sierra. We headed back to my parents ward for the rest of meetings. I tried to take Rachel to nursery but she does not like sharing or playing with the other children so she only lasted a couple minutes. We spent the Sunday school hour in the empty jr. nursery room were she had a blast and then she came to Relief Society with my mom and me. After we were all home from church and had dinner many of us enjoyed nap time.  Rachel was so cranky that evening that I put her to bed early but she was so tired she didn't know what she wanted so spent lots of time crying.

November 3rd - November 9th

Rachel is so busy all the time. She is always going and trying to get into things. She is now 18 months old. She loves that she can do more things by herself and is trying to talk more and more. She now signs all done and thank you which is nice.

Monday 3rd - Monday morning John when running, he did 6 miles.  Rachel and I just spent the day at home.  I was wiped out most of the day since I was switching anti-nausea medication.

Tuesday 4th - Tuesday was a really really bad for me.  Poor Rachel just had to entertain herself and when John got home he just got to listen to me cry.

Wednesday 5th - John went for a run and did another 6 miles.  I spent the day hanging out with Rachel.

Thursday 6th - Thursday was a lot more of the same with hanging out at home.  On his way home John ran to the grocery store for me. Our friends Becca and Joe came over after dinner to play games and get dessert. We played a couple rounds of 7 Wonders wich I lost totally and completly.

Friday 7th - In the morning I made some Spagetti for John so he would have something to eat while I was gone.  After the Spagetti was simmering I headed out with Rachel for the first time all week.  Our first stop was the drive-through Pharmacy to refill my nausea medication. After that we headed to a lady in my ward house to pick up my stuff from super Saturday a couple weeks ago when we went to the football game in Logan. On the way home we stopped at Jiffy Lube to get the tires filled since the tire pressure light was on.  After we got home it was lunch and nap time.  When John got home I started worked on packing my suitcase until dinner was ready.  Our friends Kevin and Kendra came over for a little bit that night to visit.

Saturday 8th - Saturday morning John got up nice and early and ran 13 miles. I worked on packing and when John got home he loaded the car for me. We let Rachel get out some energy and play on the playground while we waited for Terry to get there. Rachel was really good on the trip to Fillmore sleeping for almost an hour. We beat my mom to Fillmore but it worked since we decided to meet at the Maverick gas station with a playground so that Rachel could play some more. We ended up being in Fillmore for almost an hour chatting and letting Rachel play. The rest of the trip to St. George was pretty uneventful Rachel was happy until the last 10 minutes or so when she was just done in the car. On the way to my parents house we stopped to pick up a pizza for dinner. We spent the rest of the evening relaxing while Rachel enjoyed playing with all the toys.

Sunday 9th - In the morning I got sick trying to get ready so fast. Church went okay, Gibson gave a great talk in Sacrament Meeting. I took Rachel to nursery after Sacrament meeting and she did great for about half an hour and then they brought her to me in tears. She hung out with me and my dad for the rest of Sunday school. During the Relief Society hour my mom and I took her back to nursery but she did not want to leave our sides. My mom did eventually leave but I stayed with her for the rest of class. She loved snack time and coloring. That afternoon Rachel and I both took a nap before dinner. We spent the evening hanging out together and having delicious banana splits.

October 27th - November 2nd

Rachel is getting cuter by the day.  When I put her down for her naps she normally spends at least 30 minutes sitting on her bed "reading" to fall asleep. She loves to dance and she has a little river dance thing where she moves her feet really fast.

Monday 27th - John went for a run, he did 6 miles. Monday morning Rachel and I got ready and I drove her to West Valley where Chelsi so awesomely agreed to watch her while I went to my doctors appointment. My appointment went really well.  They gave me a new kind of nausea medication to try and I got some ultras-sound pictures.  The baby is growing and has a strong heartbeat.  My official due date is June 9th, 2015. After I picked up Rachel we headed home for lunch and nap time.  That night John tutored via Skype.

Tuesday 28th - Tuesday since I was switching medication I wasn't feeling very good and spent a lot of the day laying of the couch while Rachel played around me.

Wednesday 29th - John got up early and went for a 6 mile run. Wednesday morning Rachel and I went grocery shopping since I couldn't put it off any longer.  After we got home it was lunch and nap time.  That evening our friends Becca and Joe came over for dessert and games.  John and I taught them Dominion which they picked up quickly.

Thursday 30th - Thursday was another chill day with Rachel.

Friday 31st - Friday during the day Rachel and I didn't do much.  That evening after John got home we ate dinner and got Rachel into her costume.  We drove to a neighborhood in our ward.  The plan was to Trick-or-Treat for about 30 minutes and then head home.  Rachel was having so much fun going door to door that we were out for about an hour and Rachel was really mad when we stopped.  After we got home our friends Becca and Joe came over for some games.  That night I stayed up until midnight to let my cousin's friend in to spend the night in our extra room.

Saturday November 1st - John went running, he went 12 miles. Later that morning was Liam's baptism.  It was beautiful, wonderful talks and a fantastic musical number. After the baptism and pictures we went over to Zupas for a celebratory/birthday lunch.  On the way home we stopped at Kid-to-Kid and got Rachel some cute clothes and me a pair of pants.  We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and taking naps.  John had fun playing on his computer.  That evening after dinner we met Tyler, Katie, and kids, Terry and Gloria at munchies for some delicious frozen yogurt.

Sunday 2nd - Sunday morning after Rachel got up super early we all relaxed and hung out in bed together. Rachel did pretty well at church for someone who gets to go to nursery next week.  After we got home we had lunch and then John played on his computer while Rachel and I took a nap.  That evening we just relaxed and hung out as a family.

October 20th - October 26th

Rachel is getting so big and so stubborn.  She shakes her head no when she doesn't want something or just doesn't like what you are saying.  She says mama to indicate both John and me.  She learned to sign please, which has been so nice.  Her favorite place to be is outside and if you dare to leave the house without her you will hear about it.  When she is angry she bends in half and bangs her forehead against the floor.  Depending on which room we are in it huts her quite a bit.

Monday 20th - John ran 6 miles before heading into work. I went to Walmart with Rachel to do some grocery shopping.

Tuesday 21st - Rachel and I spent the day together just chilling and playing outside.

Wednesday 22nd - John ran 6 miles in the morning. I spent most of the day at home playing with Rachel. Our friends Becca and Joe came over for dinner and games. They are really fun game friends and Rachel is warming up to them.

Thursday 23rd - Thursday after John got home from work we headed over to Terry and Gloria's for a delicious dinner.  It was fun to sit around and talk to everyone.

Friday 24th - I spent the day chilling with Rachel.  That evening John and I watched Survivor, Biggest Loser, and Amazing Race; we needed to get all caught up on our shows.

Saturday 25th - John got up early and ran 11 miles.  We hurried around the house stressing as usual and were out the door just a few minutes later then we had planned.  We met our friends Scott and Ashley at Center Street Grill in Logan for some delicious lunch.  After we finished eating we headed over to Locker 42 to get Rachel a new shirt for the game and ended up getting John a shirt and Rachel a sweat suit.  We headed over to the stadium for the game and got to our seats as they were doing the coin toss.  Rachel did pretty well for the most part.  She fell asleep for about 30 minutes in the 2nd half and was much happier after that. After the Aggies won (woot woot) we headed with the throng of people back to the car.  On the way out of town we stopped to get some dinner. We got home a little after 8 and just put Rachel straight to bed since she had fallen asleep in the car.

Sunday 26th - Got up in the morning earlier than normal so that I would have plenty of time to get ready.  We headed to church on time and got a bench close to the front.  Terry, Gloria, and Jeremy got there not to long after us and John and I headed up to the stand to speak.  John spoke on trusting in the Lord and I was told to pick a talk from the last conference and choose a talk by Elder Perry about Eternal Families.  Rachel did pretty good sitting in the congregation except that she was loud.  I am starting to think she is always like that though I just didn't realize how loud she was. After Sacrament Meeting I took Rachel home for a nap.  While she was sleeping I decided that I was tired and would take a nap as well.  After Rachel woke up we FaceTimed with my family. That evening we went over to Tyler and Katie's for the family dinner.  We had Rachel wear a new shirt and everyone seemed to like it.  After dinner some of us played a game of 7 Wonders which John won. Once we were home we FaceTimed with my grandma before Rachel's bath.

October 13th - October 19th

Rachel is so fun to watch.  She finds such enjoyment in the everyday things.  She loves any kind of bag, basket, or container.  Filling them up and carrying them around gives her great enjoyment.  When she wants us to do something she grabs our finger and drags us where ever she wants us to be.  She can now open the fridge by herself when ever she wants which is a pain because it is much harder to control what she is doing.

Monday 13th - Monday Rachel and I just enjoyed being home and spent the day unpacking and hanging out together.  On his way home John was very nice and went shopping for me. He also had a tutoring appointment with a new student that he did at a Starbucks.

Tuesday 14th - Tuesday was mostly the same a Monday with Rachel and I chilling and playing except that I had to run to the store for a couple things I forgot to have John get.

Wednesday 15th - John got up early and went running, 6 miles.  Rachel and I had a fun day playing together.

Thursday 16th - Thursday was spent getting the house ready for my mom, Sierra, and Gibson to come visit. They got to the house at dinner time and we enjoyed eating and hanging out together that evening.

Friday 17th - Friday morning after we were all ready for the day my mom, Rachel, and I went to do some shopping.  John had left early for an orthodontist appointment to fix his retainer wire that had popped out. My mom and I found the rest of the clothing needed for my families Halloween costumes. On the way home we stopped at subway to get some lunch. After we got home and Rachel was down for her nap my mom, Sierra, Gibson and I played a few games of Spot It and a game of Qwirkle.  Since Rachel was still sleeping we left Sierra at the house and took Gibson to the Temple to meet a friend for Baptisms. We rented Captain America: Winter Soldier and enjoyed it.

Saturday 18th - Saturday morning my mom and John went for a 9 and a half mile run.  Once they got back I took my moms car to fill it with gas and get them all drinks for their trip.  After I got back it was time for them to say good-by and head out.  I was sad to see them go but not as sad as Rachel who cried and reached for the car as it left.  That afternoon I took a nap with Rachel and John went to throw discs with his dad and help his mom with the printer.  After he got back we got out costumes together and on and headed over to the church. First was dinner and then the Trunck-or-Treat.  Rachel loved carrying her basket around and getting candy from people. We headed home at 8 and Rachel was so tired.

Sunday 19th - Rachel slept in so we had a little bit of a hard time getting ready for church on time. Rachel was pretty good during Sacrament meeting but she was super cranky during Sunday School.  John took Rachel during the Relief Society/Priesthood hour so that I could listen better.  After we got home Rachel ate lunch and went down for a nap.  John and I worked on getting the house and dinner ready for a couple from our ward to come over.  Rachel had so much fun running around and showing off for our company.  After we finished eating we played a few rounds of Nurts. That evening John and I got all caught up on Amazing Race.
