Kidd Family Update

I kept telling myself I would be better about posting but it hasn't happened. Here is what has been going on since I last blogged.

On May 2 John graduated from USU with his Masters degree in Statistics. 

On May 10th John, Rachel and I moved out of Logan.  All of our stuff is in Storage in West Valley for at least the summer while we live with John's parents.

For the month of May we have been hanging out with my parents.  We went to the cabin at the end of May once my mom was done with school.  

We got back just in time for John's birthday.  We spent the day going to tennis, lunch, and the Temple.  For his birthday cake we got Costco's chocolate, chocolate, chocolate cake.

Those are the main things going on in the Kidd family.

Rachel Update

It has been quite a while since I posted so I wanted to do a quick review of how Rachel is growing.

Rachel is getting so big and she loves so many things. She loves playing with her toys (her toys being a loose term since everything becomes her toy).  She loves standing up on everything the couch, TV, toys, and anyone around. Rachel crawls everywhere and she is getting so fast, she wants to walk so bad. I have absolutely love being a mom, it is so incredibly fulfilling and I would not change it for anything.  

Rachel's Blessing

I am a little late in posting these pictures but life with a baby is busy.  John and I had so much support from family that drove all the way to Logan for Rachel's blessing, and since we had such an early church time it was even harder for some. Here are some pictures of Rachel's beautiful dress.

I have had these pictures for a while but I am finally getting around to putting them on my blog.  So many wonderful pictures taken by great family.  

These newborn pictures were taken by my brother Quinn and a couple were taken by my mom.

I am so thankful for all the people who took pictures for me, they are all so talented.  

Baby Girl's Birth

I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl on May 8, 2013.  I went into the hospital around 3:30 in the afternoon after my doctors appointment.

Once at the hospital I started going pretty fast.  I dilated from a 4 to a 10 in an hour (that was fun). At 10 p.m. the nurse had me start pushing.  I had to stop pushing for about 10 minutes while we waited for my doctor to get there.

At 10:55 p.m. my baby girl was born.  She weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces and was 21 inches long.  

Having a baby is the most amazing thing.  I am so happy she is here!
