Week 30

Oh yea! I have now made it 30 weeks, only 10 more weeks to go.  I am still loving salty stuff like the salty gummy worms, but no chocolate.  Baby girl now weighs just under 3 pounds.  She can now open, close and blink her eyes.  Her vision is still poor, and will remain so for a few months after birth.  Brain monitoring studies indicate that that she may be dreaming as she sleeps.  She is now strong enough to grasp a finger.

Week 29

Yea I have made it 29 weeks in my pregnancy.  Baby girl is now about 2 3/4 pounds and nearly 15 inches long.  She is the size of an acorn squash.  Her bones are beginning to harden and store iron, phosphorus and calcium. The bones will stay soft enough to accommodate the tight birth canal.  She doesn't spend a lot of time kicking but she rolls around all the time.

Week 28

I am now 28 weeks into the pregnancy.  Baby girl is now about 2 1/2 pounds, the size of an eggplant.  She can now distinguish my voice from other peoples voice's.  Her kicks may become more noticeable now.  She is also developing more fat so that her wrinkly skin will start to get smoother.

Week 26

Baby girl is now the size of a head of lettuce, and weighs just under 2 pounds.  She continues to practice breathing by inhaling and exhaling amniotic fluid.  Her immune system is rapidly developing, this has been going on since the early weeks of development.

Week 25

Baby girl is now the size of cauliflower, almost a pound and a half . Nails are starting to form on her fingers and toes.  She is also starting to grasp her hands and wiggle her fingers and toes.  She is a very wiggly baby and loves putting her hand or foot (don't know which) in my ribs.
