It's a GIRL!!!

I had an ultrasound yesterday and found out that there is a 80% chance we are having a girl.  The baby wouldn't give the doctor a great view so he could not in good conscience tell me 100%.

Our baby girl is now 17 weeks along.  She can hear some sounds like my heartbeat and the sound of my voice.  She is now about 6 oz. the size of an onion.

Weeks 15 &16

Here are the pictures from the weeks I was out of town.  I can't believe how much the baby is growing from week to week.

Halloween

To get ready for Halloween this year a couple of my cousins came over and we all carved pumpkins. John made an Iron Man pumpkin, it was amazing.  We all had so much fun!

The Joys of Moving

On Saturday John and I moved out of our first home into a bigger apartment.
                                                                       Moving Out

Packing was a pain and I hated how messy my apartment looked but it does feel nice to be someplace bigger.
                                                                            Moving In

I almost have our new place all set up thanks to the help of family.  I could not have done it without them.

True Aggies

Last night John and I became True Aggies.  We went up to campus around 11 and kissed at midnight.

It was a lot of fun and now we are officially True Aggies forever and always. :)

Spring Break 2012

For spring break John and I went to Washington D.C.  We left from the Salt Lake airport, had a layover in Phoenix.

We were only there for about an hour which was way nice.  We arrived at the Baltimore airport around 11:30 at night.
On Sunday we went to church with Jeremy and Heather (who were nice enough to let us stay with them and take us around). On Monday we went to the Arlington National Cemetery.  We got to see the changing on the guards, it was so cool to see.  The tomb on the unknown soldier was very sobering.  It is sad to think that some family still doesn't know where their son, brother, cousin, etc. is.  It is also amazing to think what so many soldiers did for me so that I can live a life where I am free to choose what I want.

After we were done at Arlington we went to see some of the Monuments around the mall.  We saw the Lincoln Memorial, the Korea Monument, the Vietnam Monument, the signers of the Declaration island, the World War II Monument, and the Washington Monument.

That night we went and saw the JFK Memorial, the George Mason Memorial, and the Jefferson memorial.  The Jefferson memorial was so beautiful, especially at night.

On Tuesday we went to the Holocaust Museum and the National Archives.

On Wednesday we went the the National Zoo, it was so much fun, we saw so many different animals.  The panda was probably one of my favorites.  But I always love any kind of Monkeys. :)

Thursday we went the the Library of Congress, the Capitol building, the Botanical Gardens the National Gallery of Art, the Naterial Museum, the American History Museum, the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, and the White House.

I saw some of the most beautiful and unique flowers and the Botanical Gardens.  John didn't care so much, but that was okay because I loved them.

The National Gallery of Art
The Naterial History Museum.  They had the amazing Hope Diamond there, it was so cool to see.

The American History Museum.  John got to be a President. I got to see dresses from the First Ladies.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial.
The White House (or at least the outside).

On Friday we went to the Washington D.C. Temple and to Mount Vernon.  The Washington D.C. Temple was so pretty and very tall (7 stories).

I loved going to Mount Vernon, I think George Washington was amazing.  They had life size statues of George, Martha, and a couple of their grand kids.  George was pretty tall, but Martha was so short.

On our last day we went the the National Bonsai Museum.  Seeing the old, tiny trees was really cool, they were amazing.

After we were done at the National Bonsai Museum we had to head to the airport to catch our plane back home.  We had a layover in Denver before we made it back to the Salt Lake airport.

Our trip was so much fun, it was an amazing spring break.
